Nicholas Smith, assistant professor of aerospace engineering at Wichita State University, will present research on Modeling short fiber orientation in 3D Printing. Smith received a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University and a masters and Ph.D. from Purdue University. Research areas of expertise include composite materials, process modeling, micromechanics and viscoelasticity. Members $10/Students $8/Nonmembers $20. Dinner included. RSVP tfriess@niar.wichita.edu.
