Particle ALD Revolutionizing Materials Design
a presentation by
Dr. Karen Buechler, Chief Technology Officer
ALD Nanosolutions

Thursday, March 23, 2017
05:30 - 7:00 PM

location: ALD Nanosolutions Inc.,
580 Burbank St., Unit 100, Broomfield, CO 80020

Abstract:

This discussion will introduce the audience to Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and how performing ALD onto particles is fundamentally different from performing ALD in the semiconductor industry.  The possible functions of the films will be introduced along with the possible materials which can be produced with this technique.  Manufacturing methods and costs will be touched on.  In addition, two near-commercial applications will be discussed.  The discussion will be followed by a tour of our development facility showing the wide range of processing operations which can be used to deposit films by ALD.
