SAMPE Announces 2017 Class of Fellows

June 6, 2017 – (Diamond Bar, Calif.) – The Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) will honor the 2017 SAMPE Fellows at CAMX, on September 11 in Orlando, Florida.
The SAMPE Fellow Award recognizes SAMPE members for their distinguished, lifelong contributions in the fields of materials and processes. Since its inception in 1982, only 159 distinguished individuals have been designated as a SAMPE Fellow.
The 2017 SAMPE Fellows:
· Brian Flinn, PhD - Research Associate Professor, University of Washington
· Faramarz Gordaninejad - Professor, Univ of Nevada/Reno
· Gaku Kimura (posthumous)
· Karl Nelson, PhD - Boeing Technical Fellow, The Boeing Company
· Nobuo Takeda - Professor, University of Tokyo
· Anthony Vizzini, PhD - Provost and Senior Vice President, Wichita State University
The 2017 SAMPE Fellows will be honored at a special Award Ceremony on Monday evening, September 11 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando. This event will take place during CAMX – The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo – in Orlando, Florida September 11-14, 2017.
