SAMPE Additive Manufacturing will address major concerns regarding the use of additive manufactured structural components which often require mechanical and physical property certification to certain design standards, which assure compliance to design integrity standards. NIAR (National Institute of Aviation Research) and SAMPE will offer a symposium regarding the development of appropriate test data methodology and data acquisition resources in demonstrating AM certification. NIAR facilities offer the best in combinations of "additive manufacturing, composite/polymer/metallic materials testing, and data acquisition technologies" for many of today's aerospace structural components and operational vehicles.
