Calling all Engineers, Entrepreneurs, and Students from across the Globe – Hurry!

Contest Entry Deadline is July 2, 2018

$20,000 Grand Prize

The “Create the Future” Design Contest is now open for submissions and runs through July 2, 2018. The world’s premier engineering design competition, the annual contest brings together engineers, entrepreneurs, and students to find solutions that benefit society and the economy; along with the chance to win a cash prize of $20,000 USD.

Now in its 15th year, the “Create the Future” Design Contest has helped stimulate and reward engineering innovation and has brought attention to thousands of product designs that increase the quality of life, improve healthcare, and help to reduce dependence on non-renewable energy sources. COMSOL and Mouser Electronics are the principal sponsors of the contest, produced by Tech Briefs Media Group, an SAE International Company.

“"The Create the Future Design Contest celebrates the creators behind the technologies that will shape our tomorrow. We are honored to support the next generation of innovators and look forward to this year's submissions." said Valerio Marra, Marketing Director, COMSOL, Inc.

"Fostering technical innovation is an investment in the future that will benefit everyone," said Kevin Hess, Mouser Electronics Senior Vice President of Marketing. "As a forward-looking company, Mouser is proud to have the continuing opportunity to support this important event for engineers and students around the world."

Contestants can enter for free, either as an individual or as a team. An independent panel of industry professionals will judge the entries. Web site visitors are invited to vote for their favorite entry. For more information on the official contest rules, go to
