Friday, July 7, 2023, DIAMOND BAR, CA – The Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) North America Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Tim Shaughnessy, President and CEO of Rapid Cure Technologies, has been selected as the SAMPE 2023 Distinguished Service Award recipient.
"Tim is a long-standing SAMPE member who has held many key roles. Tim’s leadership on the North America Executive Cabinet was vital in establishing key staff positions to support SAMPE’s strategic initiatives," said SAMPE North America President Sarah Cox. "Tim’s dedication to SAMPE was particularly noteworthy during the pandemic when he collaborated closely with leadership and staff to integrate new virtual technologies when we couldn't connect in person. Through his efforts, SAMPE successfully adapted to the challenging circumstances, ensuring that SAMPE continued to share advancements and facilitate networking for our members."
