Julieta Barroeta Robles Receives 2025 SAMPE Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award

SAMPE has selected Julieta Barroeta Robles, P.Eng., PMP, as the recipient of our 2025 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award, recognizing her technical expertise and leadership in building a more inclusive engineering community.

As a Research Officer at the National Research Council of Canada's Aerospace Manufacturing Technologies Centre in Montréal, Barroeta Robles brings over a decade of polymer composites experience and commitment to creating STEM opportunities.

Since November 2021, she has organized virtual coffee breaks addressing unconscious bias, 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion, and neurodivergent-friendly workplaces. She has led Women in SAMPE Forums, chaired the Thermoplastic Technical Committee, and conducted DEI panels.
